The Farsi Action Foundation (FAF) is a charity based in the UK, with a focus on addressing critical issues in various domains such as education, human rights, equality, mental health, integration, cultural preservation, and antisocial behaviour. The organisation actively engages in initiatives to assist immigrants from Afghanistan, facilitating their transition and integration into their new communities.

Details of the Volunteering Opportunity:

In this role, you will ensure the smooth execution of FAF’s activities and contributes to successful events aligned with the organisation’s mission and objectives. As an Office and Event Management Assistant, you will gain strong organisational skills, also enhancing teamwork and attention to detail skills.

Typical duties include:

  • Organizing and maintaining data and documentation related to FAF's activities, projects, and stakeholders
  • Planning, researching, and writing the annual events agenda, ensuring alignment with FAF's mission and objectives
  • Coordinating logistics for events, including venue booking, catering arrangements, and coordinating with speakers or performers
  • Drafting event proposals and submitting applications for event permits or licenses as required
