Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust (CLCH) provides community health services to an exceeding population across eleven London Boroughs and Hertfordshire. The organisation delivers high-quality healthcare and ensures support for patients at every stage of life, including health visits for new-borns, community nursing, stroke rehabilitation, and palliative care for individuals nearing the end of their lives.

Details of the Volunteering Opportunity:

In this role, you will help to inspire patients to explore their artistic side and contribute to their creations, provide guidance on art activities, engage patients, and lead regular art sessions. As an Art Activities Volunteer, you will acquire skills such as networking, building relationships with the community, and developing your artistic abilities.

Typical duties include:

  • Leading arts and crafts activities for both patients and staff
  • Generating fresh ideas for visual arts and crafts projects
  • Collaborating closely with staff to implement ideas within the setting's boundaries
  • Encouraging patients to involve themselves in the ward and promote the session.

Please note, this organisation requires a minimum 6 months commitment for 4 hours per week in addition to two references and a DBS check (fully funded).
