Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust (CLCH) provides community health services to an exceeding population across eleven London Boroughs and Hertfordshire. The organisation delivers high-quality healthcare and ensures support for patients at every stage of life, including health visits for new-borns, community nursing, stroke rehabilitation, and palliative care for individuals nearing the end of their lives.
Details of the Volunteering Opportunity:
In this role, your primary responsibility would be to warmly welcome the patients at the hospital and ensure they receive proper reception. As a Meet-and-Greet volunteer, you will acquire customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Typical duties include:
- Meeting and greeting patients and visitors
- Providing patient support
- Answering queries that patients and/or visitors may have
- Maintaining confidentiality and privacy between the patient and the organisation
Please note, this organisation requires a minimum 6 months commitment for 4 hours per week in addition to two references and a DBS check (fully funded).
