Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust (CLCH) provides community health services to an exceeding population across eleven London Boroughs and Hertfordshire. The organisation delivers high-quality healthcare and ensures support for patients at every stage of life, including health visits for new-borns, community nursing, stroke rehabilitation, and palliative care for individuals nearing the end of their lives.

Details of the Volunteering Opportunity:

In this role, you will establish a friendly, welcoming, and helpful environment for the group exercise classes by providing directional advice and practical assistance to the patients and visitors of the group exercise classes. You will acquire skills such as becoming more empathetic, adaptable in various situations and increase your leadership skills.

Typical duties include:

  • Meeting and greeting patients and visitors
  • Directing inquiries to appropriate members of staff
  • Providing information on local amenities like local transport, refreshment areas, and so on.
  • Collecting feedback from patients and visitors

Please note, this organisation requires a minimum 6 months commitment for 4 hours per week in addition to two references and a DBS check (fully funded).
