Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust (CLCH) provides community health services to an exceeding population across eleven London Boroughs and Hertfordshire. The organisation delivers high-quality healthcare and ensures support for patients at every stage of life, including health visits for new-borns, community nursing, stroke rehabilitation, and palliative care for individuals nearing the end of their lives.

Details of the Volunteering Opportunity:

In this role, you will be responsible for contacting patients via telephone to gather feedback about their experience with the organisation’s services, helping to identify areas of improvement. As a Project Support Volunteer, you will acquire skills such as enhancing your confidence, learning about confidentiality, being patient and understanding.

Typical duties include:

  • Gathering patient perspectives by actively listening to patient concerns and suggestions
  • Evaluating and analysing the data collected
  • Communicating and reporting the gathered feedback to the appropriate team
  • Maintaining confidentiality and privacy between the patient and the organisation

Please note, this organisation requires a minimum 6 months commitment for 4 hours per week in addition to two references and a DBS check (fully funded).
