The programs meet the unique needs of each veteran, including access to advanced technologies, expert training, and ongoing assistance from compassionate professionals.
Details of the Volunteering Opportunity:
In this role, you will help provide crucial social interaction for veterans who often feel isolated or lonely. As a Social Club Helper Volunteer, you will develop communications, organisational, and event management skills.
Typical duties include:
- Assisting with event planning and organisation
- Helping with setup and clean-up of the events
- Managing registration processes of new members
- Greeting and welcoming existing and new members
Please note, the Brunel Volunteers team would like you to commit to a minimum of 2-3 months.
