Summary

Professor Dan Prentice is Emeritus Professor of Corporate Law of the University of Oxford. He was member of the Faculty of Law at the University of Oxford and a Fellow of Pembroke College, Oxford from 1973 until his retirement in 2008. He held the Allen & Overy Professorship of Corporate Law at the University of Oxford (the first Chair in corporate law in the UK). He then moved to UCL as a Visiting Professor of Corporate Finance teaching with me from 2008/9 until roughly May this year.

Dan is a Member of the Law Society’s Company Law Committee and author of various books and articles on Company Law and Corporate Insolvency. He is a member of Erskine Chambers, Lincoln’s Inn. He was a contributor to Buckley on the Companies Acts and chaired a review for the Government on company charges.
