Ms Mara Deluca
PhD Student

Summary

Mara is undertaking a full time PhD at Brunel University in Human Performance, Exercise and Rehabilitation Research under the supervision of Dr. Amir Mohagheghi. Mara joined the Department of Life Sciences, Division of Sport, Health and Exercise Sciences in January 2019. Prior to joining Brunel as a PhD student, Mara received an MSc in Sport, Health and Exercise Science from Brunel University and a BS in Biology from The University of West Alabama.

Mara's areas of interests are in the rehabilitation and functional recovery after stroke. Her current research is in the use of how distinctive motor fibres might impact movement, strength, and functional recovery.
