Teaching, diabetes, bioinformatics and cell signalling.

Research Interests

My research interests are in signal transduction, protein trafficking, proteomics and bioinformatics. In my previous positions, I have examined intracellular signalling in the Muller cells of the retina, the phosphorylation of the alpha subunit of the heterotrimeric G-protein Gi-2 in hepatocyte, and the trafficking of the insulin-responsive vesicles that contain the glucose transporter GLUT4.
