There has been an increasing interest in the use of creative methods as a means to elicit insights into health and wellbeing and about everyday life. This first seminar will focus on material and sensory methods. In particular we explore the use of material methodologies - focusing on objects and materiality associated with health and wellbeing, urban living, everyday life and sensory methodologies – with a focus on embodied being in the world that highlights the contested nature of the senses.
