BCAST Advanced Metal Casting Centre featured in the International Aluminium Journal

AMCC Design

The new BCAST Advanced Metal Casting Centre (AMCC) has been featured in the November issue of the International Aluminium Journal. The Germany-based journal appraised the £14 million project as an important step to bridge the gap between fundamental research, which is done at BCAST, and applied industrial scale research. AMCC will be co-funded by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) and the industrial companies Constellium and Jaguar Landrover. A new laboratory building will be established at the Brunel campus, and run by technical and research personnel from BCAST and the industrial partners.
