You will learn about the current engineering practices and standards which ensure you have the most up-to-date skills when you go out into the workplace.
We will nurture your practical skills when considering properties of materials and their uses, and will enable you to confidently use different types of equipment to test fluids and develop your solutions to real world civil engineering problems. As part of your civil engineering degree, you will study modules specifically designed to give you the ability to manage projects using communication and critical thinking skills.
During your studies you will embark on site visits and field trips which enable you to work in groups, understand the safety requirements when using the testing equipment and give you a real taster of the working environment.
