Tackling the most important issues facing societies today, Brunel University London’s annual Public Lecture Series spotlights current world-class research in an open and freely accessible forum for public debate.
Over four consecutive evenings in February 2018, Brunel’s acclaimed panelists explored distinct topics on the theme of ‘What Lies Beneath? : Fact, Fiction and Fantasy’.
Each presenter spoke for 20 minutes and shared their expertise, opening the floor to public debate, on themes of ‘Plastic Pollution’, ‘Artificial Intelligence’, Trust in the Establishment’, and ‘Designing for Happiness’.

All of the lectures in the series will be taking place in the Eastern Gateway Auditorium, you can find out more about this building by clicking here. When you come onto campus via the main entrance it will be the first building on your right. Once inside there will be clear signs to direct you to where you need to go.
As this is classed as a public event and the lectures are all in the evening time you are allowed to park on campus free of charge as long as you arrive after 4.30pm. However, we can not guarantee that there will be be a space for your vehicle so if you do choose to drive please come in good time in order to find a place to park.
