Research students are welcomed to Brunel as valued members of our thriving, research-intensive community. A research degree provides the opportunity to investigate a topic in depth, and contribute new knowledge to your discipline. Find out more about Research Degrees at Brunel.
Funding for doctoral studies
A number of studentships and other research funding opportunities are available at Brunel. Please see full list here: Research degree funding.
If you are a home or EU student, there are a number of studentships available at BCAST through EPSRC CASE studentships. EPSRC funding is available for all UK and EU-nationals, normally resident in the UK. The funding covers both tuition fees and bursary for the three year duration of the PhD. If you are a non-EU student, please contact us directly to discuss about possible funding opportunities and research proposals. Informal enquiries can be made to Dr Brian McKay (Brian.McKay@brunel.ac.uk) at all times.
