When you join us, you can opt for a placement course where you’ll gain work experience with one of our many partner organisations. Employers want candidates who can show they have skills beyond their degree so getting that extra experience during your time at Brunel can take you far.
Our Professional Development Centre offer personalised support to all placement students, and will work with you to develop your professional skills whilst helping you find the placement that is right for you, allowing you explore the world of work first hand.
You’ll benefit from a complete programme of personalised career support from your first term with us. We focus on getting you job ready through activities including career development modules focused on improving CV, interview skills or transferable skills – applicable to any industry, inspirational talks from alumni, careers events and research jobs with academics.
