Summary
Dr Farid Arya is currently a Senior Lecturer in Engineering at Brunel University London. He completed both his postgraduate and undergraduate studies in Solid State Physics, with his master's project focusing on the effects of annealing on crystal structure and lattice constants, particularly in magnetic materials.
In 2014, Dr Arya earned his PhD at Ulster University, where his research centered on the utilization of vacuum thermal insulation, primarily in building applications. Following this, he served as a Research Associate at Ulster University, contributing to projects related to Solar Energy and Heat Storage Systems.
In 2019, Dr Arya secured a lecturing position in Engineering and Product Design at Buckinghamshire New University. Subsequently, in 2023, he joined Brunel University London as a Senior Lecturer in Engineering, continuing his research in Renewable Energy Systems and Heat Storage Systems.
