Summary

Mr Kevin Longo is a Doctoral Researcher at Centre for Advanced Powertrain and Fuels in the department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. The main focus of his research is the study of high-efficiency Hydrogen Internal Combustion Engines. This includes single- and dual-fuel combustion solutions using hydrogen.

He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Polytechnic of Leiria, Portugal, before moving to Brunel Unversity London to complete a Master of Science in Automotive and Motorsport Engineering. Mr Kevin developed a Dynamic Simulation Model for a Le Mans Prototype 2 (LMP2) car during his MSc Dissertation in collaboration with a Motorsport team from the World Endurance Championship (WEC). Recently, he has also worked as a Data and Performance Engineer in several motorsport championships, including FIA British F4 and British GT.
