Mr Philipp Bibik
Associate Lecturer (Education) in Computer Science

Summary

Philipp Bibik serves as an Associate Lecturer and Doctoral Researcher in the Department of Computer Science at Brunel University London, with a focus on AI safety research. He completed his undergraduate studies at Brunel University and was honoured with the University Prize in Computer Science for achieving the highest overall grades in his year.

His primary research interests are in the field of AI, where he investigates how to design safe, robust, and aligned models.

He has previously collaborated with the Computational Biology group on the PyCoM database (https://pycom.brunel.ac.uk/) to create a public, queriable database of annotated proteins along with derived coevolution matrices.
