Biography
Flight Sergeant Navigator graduated from Shoreditch College in 1940. He died on 21 February 1944 at the age of 25. Fl/Sgt Hamilton was the navigator on a flight with five other crew members on anti-submarine patrol. By 8:05 the morning of the 22nd it was apparent that the Wellington XIV had gone missing. Fl/Sgt Hamilton is one of only two from the flight found. The other three are missing presumed dead. He is buried at Tangier (St. Andrew) Churchyard. His headstone reads, “Not just to-day, but every day, we remember, mum and dad”
