Biography

Private Reginald William Sephton was the son of Thomas and Elizabeth Sephton. He attended Borough Road College for two years before graduating with an Intermediate Arts qualification. Whilst at the college he played rugby. He is listed as being destined for a school in Derby. In September of 1914 he enlisted into the 13th Battalion Royal Fusiliers. He was killed on 17 November 1916 at the end of the Battle of the Somme. His body was not found.
