The Venture Competition is an opportunity for Brunel University London students and alumni to develop their entrepreneurial skills and ideas with a chance to win up to £10,000 of start-up funding generously supported by Santander Universities and the Brunel Development Fund.
This year the Entrepreneur Hub selected 10 fantastic finalists out of a huge 99 applicants, to go through to the Venture Competition Pitching Finals. The competition had 2 categories this year - a ‘Social Impact’ category alongside a ‘Commercial’ category, of which 3 of the finalists entered in the ‘Social Impact’ and 7 ‘Commercial’.
On Thursday 27th February 2020, 10 budding entrepreneurs pitched their innovative ideas to a panel of experts competing to win a share of £10,000! After a 15-minute pitch including a question and answer session with the panel, 4 finalists were chosen as the 2020 Venture Competition Winners alongside 2 runners up.
