Nathaniel Hoy is a Doctoral Researcher within the Department of Computer Science. He achieved his BSc in Computer Science specialising in Artificial Intelligence at Brunel University London. His research focuses on the applications of artificial intelligence to detect and address the issue of 'Fake News' through both supervised and unsupervised learning methods. Specifically, his research aims to improve the generalisability of current approaches to fake news detection. Nathaniel has also served as an Associate Teaching Assistant during his undergraduate at the University and continues this work as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Assistant Lecturer alongside his research.
