The Student Circuit is a free online educational platform providing resources and support for electronic and electrical engineering students. The organisation offers a range of educational materials, articles, and projects aimed at enhancing the learning experience of students in this field, helping them gain confidence, create valuable industry connections, and become part of a community of like-minded students where they can discuss aspects of their interests.

Details of the Volunteering Opportunity:

In this role, you will write articles about anything related to electronics/engineering for the Student Circuit website, which will then be uploaded across different social media channels. As a Student Contributor, you will enhance your writing skills, particularly in the context of technical content creation, and build a portfolio that can be used in the future to showcase your expertise to potential employers.

Typical duties include: 

  • Writing engaging and informative articles on various topics within the electronics and engineering field, ensuring accuracy and relevance
  • Conducting research to gather accurate and up-to-date information
  • Collaborating with editors to incorporate feedback, make necessary revisions, and ensure the final articles meet the publication's standards
  • Submitting completed articles to the editorial team 

Please note, the organisation would like you to commit to a minimum of 3 months.
