MyHealth in Hillingdon is a patient education and self-management programme.

Details of the Volunteering Opportunity:

As a volunteer, you will be assisting the MyHealth team in engaging with the public at our winter roadshows held across the borough in public areas such as libraries, supermarkets, shopping centres and churches.

During these roadshows we would like you to focus on the following elements:

• Advertise MyHealth and its workshops
• Signpost to alternative NHS services e.g. pharmacy’s
• Note down any interesting names for the team to contact for booking onto our workshops

Skills Required:

• Basic IT knowledge
• Confident to engage with the public
• GDPR Confidentiality
• This role will include transportation of advertising material (banners and literature). A vehicle will be useful. Public transport can be used if you wish
