The Blind Veterans are committed to provide veterans with access to the highest quality services and support in order to honour their invaluable service to the country. The programs meet the unique needs of each veteran, including access to advanced technologies, expert training, and ongoing assistance from compassionate professionals.

Details of the Volunteering Opportunity:

In this role, you will help provide crucial social interaction for veterans who often feel isolated or lonely. As a Social Club Helper Volunteer, you will develop communications, organisational, and event management skills.

Typical duties include:

  • Assisting with event planning and organisation
  • Helping with setup and clean-up of the events
  • Managing registration processes of new members
  • Greeting and welcoming existing and new members

Please note, the Brunel Volunteers team would like you to commit to a minimum of 2-3 months.
