A fun and engaging budgeting tool designed for children between the ages of 8-11. Budget Buddy helps children manage their money and understand its value in the digital age.

As this world is shifting towards digital means of payment, children find it increasingly more difficult to contextualise money and truly understand the importance of it. Recent studies confirm that financial habits acquired at a younger age are likely to influence important decisions made in the future. Budget Buddy is a response to these concerns of financial management in the digital age – Buddy simplifies budgeting into 3 key categories: Saving, Spending and Sharing. Children earn money through ‘Money Missions’ that enforce good behaviours, the missions and rewards are set and tracked by the parents using the app. Buddy’s large display can be used by the children to track their money and view short stimulating videos intended to communicate proper money management and deciding where to store money.
