Ultra Education C.I.C is a charity providing entrepreneurship tuition and teaching resources for kids. The organisation uses entrepreneurship as a vehicle to change the trajectory of young people’s lives by showing them how they can do what they love and make financial gains from it, teaching them that they can make a big impact on the world and flourish financially with a sense of purpose.
Details of the Volunteering Opportunity:
In this role, you will learn about the financial side of the voluntary and charity sector. As a Finance Volunteer, you will acquire transferable skills across IT, communication, research, creativity, and critical thinking.
Typical duties include:
- Gathering financial information that will enhance fundraising prospects and enable the charity to deliver cost-effective services for vulnerable young people
- Working with the CEO to calculate the value of in-kind support
- Assisting the Fundraising team to develop budgets for fundraising applications
- Helping the CEO with the preparation of income and expenditure report
