The London Museum of Water and Steam is a historic building offering a fun and educational day out for families that want to learn more about London's water supply, the site, its people, and the pumping engines. The organisation has the world’s largest collection of stationary steam pumping engines and a Waterworks Gallery that traces the development of London’s clean water supply.
Details of the Volunteering Opportunity:
In this role, you will assist in promoting and engaging the organisation's audience through social media and general marketing. As a Marketing Volunteer, you will learn a set of skills such as strategic planning, campaign management, online community management, tailoring content, and, strategies.
Typical duties include:
- Ensuring cohesive marketing strategies and to promote specific initiatives or events
- Staying updated with the latest trends and best practices in social media and digital marketing
- Designing, implementing, and overseeing online marketing campaigns
- Responding to comments, messages, and mentions to foster a positive and interactive online environment
Please note, the Brunel Volunteers team would like you to commit to a minimum of 2-3 months.
