Summary

Danielle (she/her) obtained an MSc in Occupational Therapy (pre-registration) in 2017 from Brunel and returned to teach at the University in August 2021 as a Professional Practice Lecturer. Danielle’s role is split between working in a clinical position and as a lecturer for the Occupational Therapy department.

After qualifying as an Occupational Therapist, Danielle, gained early experience in a range of settings including; social services, community learning disability services and in a children’s education service. Danielle now specialises in mental health, having recently worked in the prison setting and now in perinatal mental health. She is particularly interested in working with diverse communities, and with populations traditionally marginalised in healthcare settings.

Working days:

  • Brunel: Monday and Friday 
  • Clinical: Tuesday- Thursday
