I have a broad range of interests, taking in the areas of: (i) humanistic and literary perspectives on education, (ii) educational enhancement, artificial intelligence and neuroscience and (iii) moral and religious education. Although diverse, my work in these areas draws commonly on the resources of phenomenology and hermeneutics and the account of human experience and meaning that these philosophies provide.
