Dr Kezhi Wang has received Ph.D. from the University of Warwick (funded by Chancellor’s International Scholarship). 

He is a Royal Society Industry Fellow.

He has been listed as a Highly Cited Researcher, 2023, by Clarivate Web of Science and a Top 2% Scientist of the World by Stanford University (Elsevier, single-year data sets), 2022-2023.

He has received several awards, including the prestigious IEEE Communications Society Leonard G. Abraham Prize (2022), IEEE Communications Society Heinrich Hertz Award (2023), Nomination by MLST TC for Young Author Best Paper Award IEEE Signal Processing Society (2023) and his one paper in IEEE Transactions on Signal Processing has been Highlighted by IEEE Signal Processing Society (SPS) in 2022.

He has been invited as an external examiner for many universities across the globe, e.g., University of Glasgow, University of Sheffield, University of Aberdeen, University of Exeter, Aston University, University of Essex, KTH Royal Institute of Technology, IIIT-Delhi, etc.

He has been invited to review the proposal for many organizations, e.g., Austrian Science Fund, Israel Science Foundation, UKRI, EPSRC, University from Saudi Arabia, etc. 

He is an IEEE Senior Member, HEA Fellow, EPSRC Associate College Member, and UKRI Talent Peer Review College Member.

He has published 110+ IEEE journals (IEEE Transactions, IEEE Letters, IEEE Magazines), with the citation 10,000+, h-index: 50 (Google Scholar); 5+ Clarivate ESI hot papers (0.1%); 16+Clarivate ESI highly cited papers (1%), 25+ Popular papers (IEEE Explore), 3 Patents, 20+ IEEE papers (citations > 100), 20+ Journal papers (IF > 9), 6 IEEE Journal papers (submitted to REF 2021).

He currently serves as an Associate Editor for many journals including IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology, IEEE Wireless Communications Letters, IEEE Communications Letters, and IEEE Access, serves/served as a Lead/Guest Editor for several international journals and TPC Track Chair/Publicity Co-Chair/Session Chair/TPC member for many conferences. He has been invited as a reviewer for many international journals, e.g., IEEE Transactions and a reviewer for Books from Elsevier, Taylor & Francis, Wiley, Springer, etc.

He has (co-) supervised several PhD students to complete and most of them are now working in prestigious Universities/Industries across the UK and the world. He has also served as an external supervisor for many students, e.g., @Newcastle University and QMUL, UK.

He has been invited to give talks at 20+ universities and organizations, e.g., IEEE ComSoc School Series UK and Ireland.

All the students/research fellows in my group will have a lot of opportunities to collaborate with our national and international partners in Europe, Canada, and Australia. The students will conduct Secondments (up to 12 Months in their study, fees will be covered) to prestigious universities including KTH, Sweden, University of Göttingen, Germany, TU/e and TU Delft, Netherlands, University of Alberta, Canada, University of Sydney, Australia and many others, via our EU Horizon Europe projects.
