Summary

I am a cultural psychologist with an interdisciplinary background. My research programme focuses on personality and self in a broad socio-cultural context. The second strand of my research focuses on the psychosocial mediators of adjustment to a host culture during a temporary or permanent change of residence (migration) and on sensitive periods in culture acquisition.
