Mrs Bellou has a vast professional experience in UAVs, working as a UAV technician in Law Enforcement. 

Her research focuses on UAV designing and computer vision techniques (AI) for automatic aerial inspection of high-voltage power line facilities. This project involves the implementation of recent instance segmentation and object detection deep neaural network (DNN) architectures (YOLO, Mask-RCNN etc.), as well as the development of a quadcopter UAV platform to evaluate the accuracy of the models. 

Custom-made image datasets and final models will be provided in public as contribution to deep learning community for further research.
