Summary
Dr. Emeka Smart Oruh is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA), Senior Lecturer in Human Resource Management (HRM) and Organisational Behaviour (OB), and Programme Leader for the MSc Human Resource Management programme at Brunel University London, UK. He earned his PhD in Employment Relations (ER) and Human Resource Management (HRM) from Brunel University. Prior to joining Brunel, Dr. Oruh served as a lecturer at the University of Portsmouth School of Business and Law, UK, until 2020. His research focuses on organisational behaviour, employment relations, and human resource management within international business contexts, with particular emphasis on emerging and developing economies. Dr. Oruh has an extensive publication record, with his work appearing in leading international journals, including Human Relations, The International Journal of Human Resource Management, Journal of Managerial Psychology, International Journal of Contemporary Hospitality Management, IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, Marketing Theory, Management Decision, European Management Journal, Journal of Organizational Effectiveness: People and Performance, and Employee Relations, among others. He has also contributed to several edited books and book chapters.
