Research Interests

My research is focusing on the occupation of the Channel Islands during The Second World War 1940-1945.  The Channel Islands were the only British territory to be occupied during the war.  This research is aiming to further the understanding and knowledge of this occupation past and to give comprehensive view of the occupation.

Currently there is a wide range of literature on the occupation period and this research aims to compliment this.  Currently lacking from the literature in a full exmination of the full range of responses to the German occuaption from collaboration to resistance and this research looks to address this.
